Leigh LaMartina is BRI’s Director of Legal & Compliance and a Senior Project Manager specializing in environmental permitting and program coordination. She leads complex projects and develops systems that help BRI’s teams deliver science effectively and responsibly.

Leigh guides both organizational and project-level initiatives that connect science, policy, and practice—from building efficient contracting and compliance frameworks to managing field and analytical projects across programs. She is known for her ability to translate regulatory and operational complexity into clear, practical strategies that help projects move forward smoothly.

Drawing on her background in law and environmental project management, Leigh works across legal, operational, and program functions to strengthen systems and deliver effective, mission-aligned outcomes across the organization and its projects.
