Tahlia Ali Shah was sub-contracted with the Biodiversity Research Institute in September 2022 following over six years’ experience providing technical advice and support in environmental management to the Caribbean region. She has extensive background in project management and in the implementation of the obligations of multilateral environmental agreements through scientific research and analysis, training, and awareness raising activities.
Tahlia will assist with BRI's Center for Mercury Studies with the development of studies and knowledge platforms that can contribute to the overarching goal of generating regional and global products to assist the needs and obligations of Multilateral Environmental Agreements, such as but not limited to the Minamata Convention on Mercury.
