Offshore Wind Staff Scientist

Anna’s scientific research has primarily focused on understanding how wildlife is responding to human disturbance and environmental change. During her master’s program, she used motion-activated camera traps to study carnivore interactions in urban areas near Newburgh, New York. More recently, Anna led the shorebird management program for endangered and threatened species, including the piping plover and least tern. She also has an educational and professional background in environmental communication and policy, and she is excited about collaborating with diverse stakeholders to solve complex conservation challenges.

As an offshore wind staff scientist, Anna supports the renewable energy program with a focus on offshore wind energy and wildlife. Her main responsibilities include report development, data analysis, internal and external communications, and GIS mapping.
