BRI Newsroom
BRI, a nonprofit ecological research group based in Portland, Maine, conducts innovative wildlife science worldwide. Our research capabilities have grown in response to pressing ecological issues, from the ability to study the natural history of loons to the development of new technologies that enable researchers to predict risks due to climate change and human development. BRI’s researchers are available to talk to journalists and provide expert information on both their work and the broader topics of their expertise.
