After spending 13 years in the power industry studying wildlife around hydropower projects, Tim joined BRI in 2015 as a wildlife and fisheries specialist. His experience includes conducting environmental impact studies and Common Loon and Bald Eagle ecology studies; daytime and nighttime capture and banding with contaminants sampling; telemetry studies of fish and mammals; and study of fishway operations and fish passage efficiency at hydroelectric dams.

When he’s not in the field, Tim is usually pursuing another interest—aviation. He got hooked on flying while conducting telemetry studies and plans to earn his pilot’s license.
